Round 1 Manu stuffs a shot from Zack and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Manu slides his knee across the body of Zack and takes full mount. Ruiz secures his position. Young gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ruiz peppers Zack Young with several shots to the face. Manu Ruiz peppers Zack with several shots to the face. Round 2 Zack Young traps Manu Ruiz in a corner, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Zack Young circles Manu Ruiz, landing jabs and crosses at will. Manu is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Zack Young explodes with a flurry of punches. Manu is then thrown to the floor. Zack lays into Manu Ruizs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Manu Ruiz does so. Manu Ruiz is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Round 3 Zack blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Ruiz tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Young narrowly dodges a cross from Manu, but falls catching him in his guard. Young is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Manu Ruiz. Manu defends a triangle attempt, throwing Zack Youngs straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Zack Young is able to hold him to half guard.
