Round 1 Davis lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Jack Davis lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Brock. Jack Davis then switch kicks Brock on the opposing rib. Jack Davis lands a hook to the body. Jack Davis fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Sherk. Brock Sherk gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. A strong elbow forces Sherk to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Brock Sherk thrusts his leg into Daviss knee while grounded. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brock Sherk places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Jack Davis drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Brock sets a guillotine choke but Jack Davis slips out at the last moment. Jack Davis is now caught in guard. Sherk attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Jack slips out at the last moment. Brock connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Round 3 Brock Sherk throws a cross that easily dodged by Jack. Brock Sherk weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Davis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Brock keeps Jack Davis at a distance with some well timed jabs. Brock Sherk is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Brock Sherk can continue. The bell signals the end of round 3.
