Round 1 Gregory ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Allen to the mat, and his back. Trey Allen tries to stand up but Gregory Rhodes plants him back down with several strikes. Allen slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Gregory executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Trey Allen to the mat, and Gregory into side control. Rhodes slides his knee across the body of Trey and takes full mount. Gregory Rhodes punishes Allen with a series of strikes from the mount. Gregory Rhodes secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Allen fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Gregory Rhodes. Rhodes attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Allen who lands in his guard. Allen takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Gregorys guard. It doesn't pay off as Rhodes makes his way to standing. Trey narrowly dodges a cross from Rhodes, but falls catching him in his guard. Allen lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "tastic" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Trey Allen gets his arm underneath the neck of Gregory while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Trey Allen applies pressure forcing Gregory to tumble over giving Trey Allen mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Rhodes attempts to press in but "tastic" uses a inside reaping to put Rhodes on the canvas. "tastic" hops to side control. Trey Allen slides his knee across the body of Gregory and takes full mount. Gregory attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Rhodes gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Trey Allen locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Gregory. Allen lays into Gregory Rhodes with some strong shots forcing Gregory Rhodes to give up mount position. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Gregory snaps back the head of Trey with a stiff jab. Rhodes hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Trey. Rhodes connects with jab cross combination. Gregory Rhodes reaches down and trips Trey with a beautiful ankle pick. Gregory Rhodes dives into back control. Gregory slides off to the side of "tastic" and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Gregory switches back to full back control. Rhodes lands a double punch to the head of "tastic". The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Allen is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Allen almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "tastic" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Gregory Rhodes is working a furious pace on Allen, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Gregory lands one solid shot the chin. Trey goes limp and it's over.
