Round 1 "El Flamenco" snaps back the head of Rick with a stiff jab. Hop parries Hughess jab and connect with a cross. Hop lands a double jab. Hughes is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from "El Flamenco". Hughess legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Rick lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Hop turns slightly and fires an upward elbow rocking Rick Hughes. Hughes is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Hughes can continue. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Chen connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Rick Hughes. Hop Chen connects with a hard punch making Rick Hughes bring him in to a tight clinch. A strong elbow forces Rick Hughes to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Hop Chen lays into Ricks thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Rick Hughes does so. Hughes attempts to press in on "El Flamenco" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Hughes attempts a striking combination, but Hop Chen forces the clinch. Hop Chen stomps the feet of Hughes. Chen recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch.Round 3 comes to a close.
