Round 1 Kennedy is staggered by a jab to the chin. Lawrence gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Kennedy peppers shot to the head of Lawrence looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Lawrence is hand playing well. Walt Lawrence is able to make it back to the standing position. Lawrence lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Johnny. Johnny Kennedy throws a hard jab but Walt throws a cross right over the top rocking Johnny Kennedy. A spinning back kick leaves Johnny Kennedy stumbling back and clutching his side. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Kennedy connects with a series of punches forcing Walt Lawrence into a clinch. Johnny receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Walt Lawrence. While tied up, Walt Lawrence is met with a hard uppercut. Johnny Kennedy snaps back the head of Walt with a stiff jab. Walt Lawrence takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Johnny lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Lawrence. Kennedy takes down Walt Lawrence, but remains standing over him. Johnny Kennedy lays into Walt with some stomps. Walt can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
