Round 1 Rees Bevan presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Perry to the mat. Rees Bevan stands back and waves Perry up. Rees lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Perry circling away. Cory is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Cory can continue. Cory is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Rees Bevan. "The Beast" and Cory Perry begin to trade strikes. Cory Perry lands a jab, cross. "The Beast" connects with a body shot followed by a hook. "The Beast" gains a muay-thai clinch and lands some hard hooks. He then pulls Cory Perrys head to a strong knee strike, knocking him to the floor. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Perrys legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Rees connects with a series of punches forcing Cory into a clinch. Rees lands a powerful knee to the face of Cory Perry. Bevan grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Cory under the eye. Bevan grabs the plum and pulls Perrys face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Bevan releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Bevan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Perry. Rees Bevan gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. A strong elbow forces Cory Perry to lose his balance and fall to the floor. As Cory attempts to keep Rees Bevan in front of him, Rees Bevan grabs Cory Perrys ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Rees stands over Perry, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Perry is able to grab an arm and pull Rees into his guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Cory Perry lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Rees works to Cory Perrys back while standing. Rees throws a couple of outside shots until Perry is able to work his way back to the clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Bevan dazed. Rees grabs the plum and pulls Cory Perrys face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Rees lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "The Beast" lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Perry circling away. Rees Bevan is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Perry welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Rees Bevan back to striking distance. "The Beast" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Rees Bevan is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Cory is able to push to half guard. The round comes to an end.
