Round 1 Morgan hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. "Piers Morgan" loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Andre Artigas for the mistake. Andre Artigas has side control. Andre Artigas lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Morgan gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Artigas slides to the side and spanks the butt of Pierce in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Round 2 Andre Artigas hits an uppercut to the head of Pierce followed by a hard hook. Artigas is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Andre Artigas parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Morgan Pierce lays into Andres thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Andre Artigas does so. After dodging a jab, Morgan lands a kick to the liver of Andre Artigas who steps back only to take a knee. Morgan rushes forward to capitalize but Andre Artigas falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. A solid kick bruises the leg of Andre Artigas. "Piers Morgan" hovers over Andre Artigas pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Andre Artigas sends a hard up kick that rocks "Piers Morgan". Andre Artigas stands back up. Artigas throws a cross that easily dodged by "Piers Morgan". "Piers Morgan" connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Andre. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Andre Artigas keeps "Piers Morgan" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Artigas throws a cross that easily dodged by Pierce. Both fighters begin to exchange Artigas catches "Piers Morgan" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Piers Morgan" gather himself. "Piers Morgan" says he is ok and the fight continues. Andre reaches down and trips Morgan with a beautiful ankle pick. Andre dives into back control. Andre slides to the side and spanks the butt of "Piers Morgan" in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Andre Artigas tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The round comes to an end.
