Round 1 Jackson Bennett ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Leon Gosselin and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Jackson Bennett is staggered by a jab to the chin. Gosselin ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Jackson Bennett to the mat, and his back. Gosselin peppers Jackson Bennett with several shots to the face. Jackson is able to make it back to the standing position. A welt begins to form under Bennetts eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Leon. Gosselin stuffs a shot from Bennett and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "MoD" is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Jackson Bennett is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Leon Gosselin. Jackson Bennett struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Leon Gosselin is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Gosselin attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as "MoD" gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Gosselin slips out of half guard and into side control. Jackson Bennett takes a few knees to the body while under Leon Gosselins side control. Leon Gosselin slides his knee across the body of Bennett and takes full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Leon Gosselin fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bennett. Leon lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Leon dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Jackson Bennett standing over him. "MoD" attempts to drop a fist on Leon, but misses and lands in his guard. Bennett tries to move to half guard but Leon uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Leon Gosselin dodges some ground strikes from Bennett, and sends a few back of his own. Gosselin connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Leon Gosselin reachs over "MoDs" shoulder and sets in a kimura. Bennett tries to escape, but cannot. He has to tap out.
