Ya guessing styles is all part of the game my friend. You can either switch styles to counter your opponents styles or beef up one style enough to make you competitive with your weaknesses. If it helps feel free to look through my top retired fighters..maybe it will give you some more insight. Hope you enjoy the game though. You will always start off losing. Just happens that way. But give it time learn more of the game and youll be winning belts in no time. Cheers my friend.
Pay attention to how much your guy gets knocked out or submitted. If he gets submitted frequently then chances are he will lose to alot of grapplers. He gets KOed alot same thing. Def check out the forums tho too. Alot of good guys on there that can help. My name is Black-Santa on the forums.
Well Ground and pound for example..is strong against Pull Gaurd and Flying Submissions. Its weak against Counter Strike and Power Locks. 8 points is weak against flying submissions and does fairly well with other styles. If you go on the forums you should be able to find out more info on styles. It honestly all comes down to the build. If you build a strong enough fighter with good weight and doesnt get KOed or submitted much he will do fairly well.
