JT Adams from Surrey, British Columbia got the "GNP" nickname by being a ground and pound specialist. While he did dabble in the gnp/throw fusion fighter, the takedown and flurry of attacks with his opponent on his back was always his bread and butter. Adams had five title victories in four different organizations. JT was best known for his ability to stay on top of his opponent once he got him to his back. He rarely lost a position once he found a favorable one.
