I use Luta Livre in another camp (The Bus Riders), I train catch, judo, strength, balance and flexibility, I had a good success using this style, 5 fighters became # 1 in the ranking and two turn HOF with +30 EFC Belts. Arrogant Assault uses karate, boxing, footwork, speed and reflex. You could join the forums, there are lots of cool guys and you can join an alliance that can help you even more
Counter Strike uses Boxing, Footwork, Speed, Reflex, Focus. You can do a counter strike/punches in bunches build, but then you would have to train brawling too.
Two good choices. JJ styles are great in this game. Top Game Tapout uses Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Strength, Balance, Reflex, Focus. Ankle Breaker uses Catch Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Speed, Agility, Flexibility. You can also try Pull Guard = Jiu Jitsu, Flexibility, Reflex and Focus. The best camps using these styles at the moment are Phreak MMA and Sadaharu Oh Dojo. Look for them in camp rankings so you have an idea for your build.
Yo! You've asked me about Selton victory. Man I guess it was because of dirty boxing strategy alied to some level of, wrestling, judo and balance... not sure though
tbh i am still trying to work it out myself but so far the stats that seem to work for me are Sambo Jiu Jitsu Speed Agility Flexibility Rhythm but still not sure if Strength Coordination Focus Fortitude help and Conditioning seems to help every build some more than others
Yeah, to me, balance is important on the Fast feet build. Then, Lippi is a coach, thats mean he has a few stat trained in order to teaching them efficiently to the others guys from my camp. You can have some solid fast feet dude with training karate, speed and balance, if can you add agility, coordination and take won do; it's better !
Sure. Madsen probably won because your guy seems to have a bad chin - he's got knocked out quite a few times. And Fast Feet has a style advantage over Counter Strike.
Hey thanks for the comment! To be honest with you I'm not sure what the most important one or two stats are. The lefts are definitely JJ, Box, and MT. Those three plus Conditioning and Focus are the ones I try to build first.
its cool man, i understand, belts are nice n my guy was ranked way low if you lost not a whole lotta upsides for ya . wouldnt have challenged if i didnt think i could win but danger toni has been suckin lately no hard feeling tho man just talkin a little smack
ok man thats fine. aslong as u follow proper etiquetee (defend belts properly and fight fair fights of all styles) im cool with that. whats ur forum name? il pm u the rest there :)
no not at all dude! an alliance is a group of coaches. theres team events (alliance vs other alliances) and with ur team u create a roster and fight other alliances. each alliance has their own private sub forum to. in ours we discuss style secrets and host fun tournys for our own alliance only. nothing changes except u learn more, u meet some cool people and the alliance battles add a lot of fun to the game. are u interested?
shh shitty. reason im asking is because id like to offer u a chance to join my alliance. u have a lot of potential and i think my team could make u an even greater coach
I dunno - I am just training box, sp, fw. My new thing is no more than 4 stats. I had a few trainers in my other camp and it seemed to do OK vs FS/PG so I thought I would give this build a try. It's probably only still 50/50 and I have to watch hiddens - but I think I will be able to get a few EFC's with this build.
yeh i know, but ive always thought that was unrealistic. i mean i know anyone can swing for the fences, but it takes some sort of striking skills to be good at it and knock people out. good luck.
There are a few different theories regarding 8pts. I've always believed that it primarily requires MT, Speed, and Footwork, with MT and speed being the most important. Somehow, the belief spread that power was necessary, but I've seen little evidence that its as crucial as footwork. Akira is simply a trainer of mine. I pretty much handpick his fights, so don't put too much stock in his results. But, in general, I've seen that footwork is more important with power. Up to you, though.
Hey buddy...Well you are right about the stats. Samb and str are the main ones for PL, but you dont have the styles right that it does well against. Its three main enemies are Fast feet, SftF, and Chop down in that order. Fast feet absolutely rapes it. It does very well against GnP, SiO, SnB, LnP, and its prob 60/40 favorite against 8pt, PG and FS.
I would recommend building your wrestling and a lil judo to go with it so you can switch to SiO for those guys that are gonna go FF or SftF on u
Oh I think I know what you're talking about, Inoki said that to the Great Antonio before their infamous match. Look that match up if you haven't seen it. It gets REALLY ugly. As far as I know, they always determine winners, even if it looks like a 'shoot' (UWFi, RINGS, Battlarts, etc.)
Hmmm...that sounds more like calling spots in the ring rather than not determining who's going over who in the match. And PWI is/was mostly a kayfabe magazine so that's weird coming from them.
Well I understand wrestling. People shit on it because it's fake violence & scripted, but those same people watch scripted fake violence on TV shows and movies. Very hypocritical if you ask me. Glad to see another ProWres fan on MMArmy!
